Talles George Gomes is an economist, but above all he is passionate about the sertão. Son of the municipality of Senador Pompeu, in the Central Sertão of Ceará, from an early age he explored with his family the caatinga around the Serra do Patu. Today he has his refuge in a place located right at the foot of the mountain, where he draws inspiration for his stories. The author believes in the power of reading, in the incentive process, in the strength of creativity and citizenship, which is why he is a great supporter of literature for the new generations and sees it as an instrument of social transformation.
